When does my 2008 electrical licenses expire?
2008 licenses expired December 31.
With our class certificate you are still able to
renew your license.
Until renewed, electricians are not in compliance with Michigan electrical
licensing requirements
Do I still have time to take the Code Update Certificate
class?
Yes.
We do not want anyone to lose their electrical license because of not having
a Code Update Certificate.
We will keep our Online Code Update course open for late registrations thru
December 2009 and even longer if necessary.

What do I need to attend the class ?
Access to any PC (connected to the internet) and an
e-mail address.
Do I have to follow a schedule ?
No.
You decide when and how much time you spend each time you login to
the class.
Spend as little or as much time as you want each class
session.
What matters is that you follow the class material and accumulate 15 hours
of class study time.
When are the classes available ?
Classes are available 24/7.
Each registered student will have full access to the class for sixty (60)
days. Longer time extensions are allowed if you need more time.

What books will I need ?
You should have access to: a NEC 2005 Code Book.
Do I have to buy a Code book ?
No. You only need access to the
Code book. If you do not already have a book, some student borrow
it, use one from a library or purchase. It's up to you.

Is a "separate test" required to complete the class?
NO! * * Not Anymore * *
Everything is now done online.
The controversial State required, separate test has been completely eliminated.
How much time does it take to complete the class?
15 hrs of class instruction.
Can I take the class from any PC ?
Yes.
You may login to the class from any PC anywhere that
is connected to the internet.
You choose: from home, work,
military, library or wherever.
How much does the online class cost ?
$149. Code book not included.
For your convenience, we automatically send a copy of your official
completion certificate to the State of Michigan for you
