Yes. Our Code Update
classes are FULLY
approved by the State of Michigan For
Electrical License Renewal.
In fact, originally we were the first and only Internet
Code Update Class to be fully approved by the State
of Michigan Electrical Board.
Do you offer the 2005 Code
Update and the older 2002 Code Update?
Yes. We offer separately the 2002 and the 2005 Code
Updates. Just sign up for whichever class you
need.
All classes are fully approved by the State of
Michigan.
Does
Michigan use the NEC 2008 Code ?
Michigan has NOT yet accepted
the NEC 2008 Code.
The NEC 2005 Code is required for all Michigan 2005
Electrical Code Update Classes.
Can someone without good
computer skills take this class?
Yes. If
you can read this, then you will be able to handle
the class just fine. We will help you get
started.
The most common comment from students is: "The class

What do I need to attend the class ?
Access to any PC
(connected to the internet) and an e-mail address.
Do I have to follow a class schedule ?
No. You decide when
and how much time you spend each time you login.
Spend as little or as much time as you want
each time you login.
What matters is that you follow the class material
and accumulate 15 hours of study time.
When are the classes available ?
Classes are available 24 / 7,
whenever you want to study.
Each registered student will have full access to the
class for sixty (60) days. Longer time
extensions are allowed if you need it. Login
whenever you want during the access period.
Can I get help if I need it ?

Cossin is personally available by e-mail and phone
to assist and answer any student questions.
Do I have to take the class from my PC ?
No. You may login to
the class from any PC, anywhere on the
planet that has a connection to the internet.
Take the class from home, a friend's house, work,
library or wherever.

What books will I need ?
You need access to: a NEC 2005 Code
Book ( or a 2002 Code book for the
2002 Code Update Class).

Do I have to purchase the Code book ?
No. You
need access to the Code book for the class. If
you do not already have one, some student borrow the
book, use one from a library or purchase.

- Can I copy the class
material and share with others ?
NO.
All class material is copyright protected and is
intended to be used for your personal study
use.
Class images and text are NOT TO BE
SHARED OR DISTRIBUTED.
- How much time does
it take to complete the class?
15 hrs of study time. Just as with any seminar
style Code class.
- Is a test required
at the end of the class?
Yes. The "review" is
really a short and simple class review. It is
designed to be easy and very simple
for everyone.
- Tell me more about
the review ?
Nothing is hard, nothing confusing or tricky.
The class review is clear and simple.
You may use any books, any notes, anything
during the friendly review.
No student has ever failed. In fact, most
students wish all classes were just like ours.
Average completion time of the simple review is 5 to
10 minutes. If a student needs more time, no
problem.
The review can be done by mail using a proctor that
you suggest or take it in person at our
location.
- How much does the
class cost ?
$149. Code book not
included.
For your convenience, we will automatically send a
copy of your official completion certificate to the
State of Michigan for you (one less thing for you to
worry about).
